Voice and Acting
Coaching
Whether you’re preparing for a Broadway audition, building confidence for a college program, or rediscovering your voice after years away, I’m here to guide you with personalized, powerful coaching that transforms your talent into impact.
I’m David Jayden Anthony — a voice teacher, acting coach, composer, and longtime musical theatre educator. With over 20 years of experience on both coasts, I bring together rigorous training, deep professional insight, and a passion for helping artists find and trust their voice — both literally and figuratively.
My background is a unique blend of performance, composition, and pedagogy. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Songwriting and Music Production and am completing my master’s in Musical Theatre Writing at Berklee’s New York campus. I’ve trained and mentored hundreds of performers across the U.S. and abroad, opening a performing arts high school, creating new works programs at the college level, and working with international students through The Young Americans College of the Performing Arts. I’ve lived the full spectrum of the performer’s journey — from the classroom to the rehearsal room to the piano bar — and I bring that real-world understanding into every session.
In our work together, you’ll develop healthy technique, strong emotional connection, and total audition readiness. I don’t believe in cookie-cutter coaching. Every voice and every story is different. That’s why I tailor every lesson to who you are and where you want to go. Whether we’re unlocking a new belt note, crafting a nuanced monologue, or prepping for your dream role, my job is to make sure your authentic voice shines through.
Let’s make your next performance your best one yet.
